An imaginary place in a reactionary time
The effing iPhone died. I tried everything, and have given up for the night. I really needed to fucking get a full night of sleep. But no, 2am and I’m trying to get remember where I stored my pile of dead Sony/Ericssons to try to put one working phone together. I hope it wasn’t in Kenneth’s fucking basement.
And I just paid the fucking bill too.
For those of you who don’t know, the Whale, home of the Lamprey Group as well as batcave to Michelle Faust, Nat Ward and Kenneth Morrison burned down late in 2009. Efforts to rebuild need your help-there is a fundraiser tonight @ The Co-Prosperity Sphere.
There is a public facebook group for those of you who engage in that kind of thing (I don’t, and don’t allow my photos on facebook).

(these were pulled from the rescue file after the 2005 server crash, i lost the originals in the backup drive crash of 2007-so remember kids, you don’t actually own the file if you don’t have it in 3 places, on 2 different media types with one offsite…)

He lost a lot of work in Katrina a few years ago, and has spent the time
since then re-building back up.
A couple of weeks ago, his studio had an electrical fire, and years
worth of work,
as well as tools (giant drill press etc), was burned and severely water
damaged.
